For all the marketing and promises, there is a surprising lack of Paper Writer reviews online. And once you take a closer look at their terms and preview the essay you receive, your good impression will disappear.

While the About Us page on the PaperWriter website is pretty extensive, it doesn’t say much about its origin or experience. All we get are generic platitudes like promises of punctuality, quality, and anonymity. Nowhere does the company cite its establishment date, and I had to scour the footer to locate the name of the organization behind the website. It’s NIC International Services LP, based in Northern Ireland.

As always, before placing the order, I went looking for Paperwriter.com reviews. To my surprise, I found exactly two posts on Trustpilot and another two on Sitejabber. All four reviews are positive and date back to 2020. Though I can’t say if the posts are genuine, the lack of recent feedback is suspicious. 

On a side note, you can browse writer reviews before accepting bids, and some of those were disturbing. For example, one of the writers was accused of plagiarism and inflating the bid after he accepted it.

The pricing is unclear, and none of the reviews on PaperWriter mention the amount of money paid. Besides, the order form makes it confusing. First, it estimated the price of my 4-page college essay at around $40 with a 15% discount, but once the bidding started, most writers wanted me to pay between $40 and $60. And that’s for a paper on an 11-day deadline. The shorter your deadline, the steeper the price will be.

My paper was ready on time, but the company urges you to set the deadline at least 24 hours before you need to turn in the assignment. And I have to agree with that recommendation.

As I’ve mentioned in this Paper Writer review, the automated order system promised me a 15% discount on my first order without the need for any codes. However, after I settled on a writer, the discount was nowhere to be found, and I had to pay the full price.

They promise discounts up to 30% off for large orders, but I didn’t make use of that offer. Besides, they might generate a promo code for your next order if you’re unhappy with the paper you get. That’s what they did for me. But I won’t be using my 20% off. 

Is Paperwriter.com Worth It?

This Paperwriter.com review would have been positive if not for the horrible paper I got. I wanted a concise 4-page essay detailing the collapse of the retail supply chains throughout the Covid-19 pandemic. Instead, I got a generic description of the economic recession, unemployment, and a plethora of other issues that had nothing to do with the topic of my paper.

Moreover, it was obvious the writer copied whole passages from different sources without bothering to alter them to make them fit together better. As a result, my essay was a patchwork of disjointed ideas. I’d rather fail the assignment than turn in something like that.

Terms of Use

I read the fine print before writing this PaperWriter review, and it’s nothing special. We get the same unclear terms and promises of refunds calculated on a case-by-case basis. You will not receive a full refund for late delivery or if your grade is lower than expected. And a Turnitin report is the only proof of plagiarism the company accepts.

The essay mill offers free revisions, though you’re expected to wait at least 24 hours for every round to be finished. I tried to get my essay revised, but the support manager claimed my initial instructions were not clear enough, so I’d have to pay extra for the revision. As you may have gathered from the tone of this Paper Writer review, I was not willing to pay them another cent.

Support

Customer support is probably the least offensive thing about the website. It includes a detailed FAQ section that should answer most of your questions (it did for me). And the agents in the live chat are friendly and prompt, at least until you start demanding your money back. Then, they usually turn distant and a bit rude.

Final Thoughts

Considering the shoddy writing quality and the suspicious bidding process, I wonder why there aren’t more PaperWriter reviews along the lines of this one. I don’t plan to use this essay mill again, and I recommend you stay away too.
